IDAHO PROUD TO HOST NATIONAL GOP CHIEF

Republican National Committee Chairman Mike Duncan to visit the Gem State on Tuesday

We've all heard it. Some of us may have even thought it ourselves: The notion that prominent national Republicans routinely bypass Idaho during the general election season in favor of larger "battleground" states. It turns out that isn't exactly true. . .

We are proud to announce that Republican National Committee Chairman Mike Duncan will be visiting with Idaho Republicans on Tuesday, September 30, to fire up the troops and thank them for all of their hard work.

Chairman Duncan will help cut the ribbon at the new Ada County Republican Headquarters, address BSU and NNU College Republicans, and meet with local GOP candidates. He is also scheduled to visit with Governor Otter, as well as Lt. Governor and U.S. Senate candidate Jim Risch.

I am privileged to accompany Chairman Duncan during his visit and to introduce him at each of the scheduled events.

I had the good fortune of meeting Chairman Duncan during the Republican National Convention in Minneapolis-St. Paul earlier this month. I mentioned to him that my first job out of college was at the Republican National Committee, working on the 1988 Presidential campaign. He was pleasantly surprised and sincere in thanking me for my continued involvement with the Republican Party. That -- along with a lot of other things that happened at the National Convention -- made me feel pretty good about being a Republican.

Chairman Duncan is a gentlemen and a true leader. I am thrilled that we have this unique opportunity to host him.
Fellow Idaho Republicans, let's show Chairman Duncan how Idaho Republicans are leading the way yet again this year as the reddest of the red states!

Look for the details of Chairman Duncan's Tuesday schedule at www.idgop.org or give us a call at 343-6405.

I hope you can join us.

Norm Semanko, Chairman
